Tried this place last night (a Sat at about 6pm) w my family for a Mother's Day dinner, her choice! I called for a reservation & was told they had a table for us (4 + an infant). Upon walking in, there is a nice big bar that looks more than comfortable for a return trip here again in the near future to share lunch! Our family was seated in the front which has some nice big windows overlooking Mineral Spring. The service was great, never an empty glass! I inquired about the Pink Vodka sauce option on the Veal Parm as I had never tried that, & I am very glad I did! All the food was excellent! Looking forward to a return trip for lunch one day!

Its a modern day Cheers. Their chief, which is the owner does a lot of nice things in that kitchen including their daily special and soup offerings. Large bar and wine selection. Bar staff and servers go the extra mile to make the time you’re there enjoyable.. A must stop on your dine-out schedule..

Stylish, relaxed atmosphere. Attentive friendly service. Lexi is da bomb! Delicious food choices and generous portions. This place is perfect for singles, couples and any size group (.. though the larger your group...call to reserve a table(s). I highly recommend this place as I definitely love eating here

My friends and I went for lunch early just after the restaurant opened. It’s dark inside so we opted to sit by the well lit front area of the restaurant that has lots of windows. There are some good pizza choices. We chose chicken buffalo and pink vodka. Hmmmm. The buffalo chicken was super tasty- delicious. The slices are non-traditional (squares). The pink vodka was less interesting. Another friend got a salad with chicken- it was fresh.

The Social is a casual, yet, stylish restaurant and bar serving Italian comfort food. Located on Mineral Spring Ave in North Providence, RI. Private events are offered as well. We recently had a family gathering here. We were seated in the private front area of the restaurant. Ariel, was our server and she was very efficient and attentive. The food came out promptly and was excellent. Leading up to the event, I worked with one of the owners, Pete, with the details of the menu, etc. This is my second time working with him for a party and he is continuously very professional, personable, and prompt with responding. I would definitely recommend The Social for a great meal or a private event. We'll be social at The Social again soon! p.s check out their sister restaurant, Bar 101: Keepin' It Simple. in Johnston, RI, too! Ask for Noel.

First the server Ariel was attentive and made two great appetizer suggestions. I had the steak and cheese egg rolls and thin cheese pizza also the pink vodka sauce was amazing! Thanks Ariel and the social for an awesome experience.
